The Best Skinny Iced Coffees to Make at Home
We've all got different taste buds, and there is no limit to the creativity you can blend into your brew with a fantastic range of skinny syrups that work seamlessly in iced coffee.
No calories, sugar, or carbs in sight - let's get sipping!
Basic Iced Coffee Recipes
Ok, so if you’re unsure how to make an iced coffee, we'll have a quick recap, so you know how easy it is; plus, it’s seriously cheaper than a take-out.
- Chuck some ice in your tumbler - right to the top if you like.
- Pour in your preferred blend of coffee (more on that in a second).
- Add cream and sugarless syrup to taste.
- Slot in your straw, and you're good to go.
Before sharing some awesome iced coffee ideas, let's clarify that you can use any coffee you like.
That might be a rich, smoky espresso with enough caffeine to jump-start your morning, a decaf blend, a capsule coffee from your machine, or a hand-ground roast.
There's also no reason you can't make a perfectly smooth iced coffee with instant coffee, so you don't need to buy any specific brand or blend.
It's best to either use a cold brew or make coffee as you normally would and leave it to cool, but other than that, the choice is yours.
Sugar Free Iced Coffee for Caramel Lovers
Salted caramel ticks every box when we want a lavish, creamy drink. Try mixing a cup of chilled coffee and two tablespoons of our best-selling Salted Caramel Skinny Syrup for a sublime blend.
You can add milk or cream if you like, but the velvety syrup balances out the bitterness of coffee and hits all the right notes.
Pumpkin Spiced Guilt-Free Coffee (Better Than Starbucks Secret Recipe!)
Pumpkin spice is a go-to for the fall, but if you're taken by the warming cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg that makes us feel like we're wearing a snug blanket, you can use the flavor in an iced coffee all year round.
Here are the ingredients:
- Two shots of espresso
- One cup of chilled milk
- A cup of ice cubes
- One or two tablespoons of Skinny Mixes Sugar Free Pumpkin Caramel
Layer your macchiato with ice first (halfway up the glass), then the syrup. Pour the milk over the top, and avoid the temptation to stir if you want those trademark layers!
Drizzle your espresso shots on top - slowly - and then finish with caramel sauce if you're having a no-diet day.
This macchiato is inspired by the Secret Menu, but it's got an even better surprise; it has a fraction of the calories but the same seasonal taste.
The Pure Non-Dairy Zero Carb Iced Latte
Iced coffee purists who want a balanced, even flavor without sweetness have a great latte with their name on it.
There are tons of reasons to dodge dairy, and it's something loads of us do due to intolerances, diet preferences, or just to cut back on the calories loaded in milk, cheese, cream, and butter.
You can make a flawless iced latte with any milk version you choose, whether that's oat, cereal, coconut, almond, or anything else.
Simply blend 1.5 tablespoons of our Hazelnut Syrup, one tablespoon of Vanilla (both skinny, of course), and a couple of shots of espresso, ice, and your selected milk.
Shake and stir, relax and enjoy!
Indulgent Rocky Road Calorie Free Frappuccino
From one extreme to the other - if you're looking for an all-out, sumptuous dessert iced coffee that satisfies the most intense sugar cravings, let's go rocky road.
A Frappuccino might be one of the most extravagant coffees, but some simple swaps make up for the whipped cream and chocolate syrup to deliver your caffeine fix without the empty calories.
This skinny iced coffee can be a little more carb-heavy, but low-fat cream or our Skinny Mixes Chocolate Coconut Syrup can replace those less diet-friendly ingredients.
- Blend Rocky Road Syrup, coffee, milk, and ice until satiny.
- Pour into a tall glass, topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, or your alternatives.
We recommend using two tablespoons of sugar free syrup to get that gorgeous chocolaty taste.
